The JWs at the Kingdom Halls can ask visitors (the public) to show their vaccination card
That's a great way to lose half of your potential converts which is already shrinking.
yep, the vacation is over, it's time to go to work------for free!

Okay, elephant in the room:
If they are having "public" meetings, then they can't possibly screen visitors for vaccination status. BUT will they still require non-vaccinated JWs to stay home as they are now?
Hi I'm __________ from __________. Sorry I'm a pimo so that's all I got.
well let me clarify the question.
i know you call yourselves apostates because the bible defines people who leave their previously held beliefs as apostates.
my question means, if the bible is not true (and i don't think it is) then there is no such thing as an apostate.i have never been a jw, only a bible student with them.
Actually the christian New Testament doesn't even use the word apostate. I'm sure many ex-JWs use it because it is an official JW offense, that many have been charged with in a judicial committee. Some just re-appropriate it (tongue in cheek) and some use it in quotation marks, but we all understand what it means and doesn't mean.
the truth that gives you eternal life - "bethel edition".
this is an amazing book (vanderhoven).
news.
Wow this is fantastic. They were getting persecuted like Christians in the dark ages under the Catholic Church.
russia invades ukraine.
in the early morning hours of february 24, 2022, russia began a military invasion of ukraine, despite the efforts of world leaders to avoid war.
how might this military conflict affect the world?
an amped-up wishing for the End by JWs who didnβt prepare or save for retirement ...and donβt want to deal with the consequences!
BINGO
when all is quiet on the world scene, the jdubs say see!
they are about to to declare peace and security!
when tensions are high the jdubs point to the pushing of the kon and the kos and say see bible prophecy is being fulfilled!.
how do i view the world after leaving the jws?.
1. most politicians are disgusting filth.
political parties are disgusting filth.
I agree with you punkofnice except for the part about God. I think it comes natural to humans to worship, and politicians and government can easily fill that void. It's no coincidence that some of the deadliest communist and socialist regimes were and are atheist, and that the general decline of religion in the US is accompanied by an increase in government dependency and being suckered into various social justice schemes that take on religious fervor but really serve insidious purposes. That's what made America great, the outright acknowledgement that rights were god-given and therefore inalienable, meaning the government didn't give them and therefore couldn't take them.
from an interview with ebony magazine:.
in 1987, he left the jehovah's witnesses.
there was strong opposition to his "thriller" video on the part of some witnesses.
By 1987, the current standard of disassociation equaling disfellowshipping had already been in place for years, starting with Raymond Franz. She also continued association with him up until his death in 2009. News outlets also reported that there was a private JW ceremony for family apart from the public funeral. However it should be noted that the org says a JW funeral can only be conducted for an ex-JW if they were showing signs of returning, and then only of the conscience of the JW conducting it allowed, so obviously any such JW ceremony would be our of bounds organizationally, and refused if it were anyone else.

From an interview with Ebony magazine:
In 1987, he left the Jehovah's Witnesses. There was strong opposition to his "Thriller" video on the part of some Witnesses. Perhaps the controversy figured into his decision to leave. But I don't know that for a fact because I didn't talk to him about what he'd done. I couldn't. Witnesses do not discuss spiritual matters with a person who has disassociated himself from the Witnesses, including family members. But I want to stress that, contrary to published reports, I was not required to "shun" my son. Our relationship is as loving today as it was when he was a Witness. I just can't ask him, "Why, Michael?"
